The forty-odd Seth books contain no "lesson one". This path picks sixteen concepts and arranges them, in order of what depends on what, into four stops: first see how reality gets created, then meet the "you" that creates it, then replace the assumption of linear time, and finally land on practices you can begin tonight.

This path is arranged by hand (from the seed concepts and the chronology of the Seth books), not recommended by an algorithm; your progress is kept only in this browser.

Stop 1 · You create your own reality

The way into the Seth material is not mysticism but a causal chain you can test for yourself: what you believe, you build into fact. This first stop follows that chain from one end to the other.

0 / 4
  1. 01beliefs信念

Beliefs are the core mental tools and architectural blueprints with which the conscious mind organizes, interprets, and creates subjective and objective physical reality.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: The bedrock under all of Seth's material is that your beliefs precede and shape your experience; until you can spot your own beliefs, every step after this turns into looking outside yourself for the answer.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Nature of Personal Reality, Chapter 18 →

    Try asking Seth

“How do I find out what my core beliefs about money actually are?”

  2. 02idea construction意念构造

Idea construction refers to the creative process by which consciousness translates inner mental ideas, thoughts, and emotions into physical reality and the physical body.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Once you know that beliefs matter, the next question is bound to be how one becomes a fact — idea construction is Seth's name for that route of translation, and one of the earliest concepts to take shape in the Early Sessions.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Nature of Personal Reality, Chapter 5 →

    Try asking Seth

“How does a thought get constructed, step by step, into a physical event?”

  3. 03point of power威力之点

The present is the intersection of spirit and flesh, the sole point of action and change where nonphysical energy is translated into personal power.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Beliefs can be changed, but only at one place of leverage: the present. This step brings the first two down from principle to the point in time where you can actually act.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Nature of Personal Reality, Chapter 15 →

    Try asking Seth

“I want to change an old belief I have carried for years — how do I go about it from the point of power in the present?”

  4. 04framework 2框架二

Framework 2 refers to the nonphysical, creative source behind the physical world, representing the larger psychological reality inhabited by human subjective life.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: You change a belief in the present — but where do events get brewed into shape? Framework 2 is Seth's term for that not-yet-physical source of creation, and with it the first stop closes its loop.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events, Chapter 3 →

    Try asking Seth

“What is the difference between Framework 2 and Framework 1, and how do I hand a wish over to Framework 2 to work on?”

Stop 2 · Meeting the multidimensional self

If reality is created by “you”, the next thing to settle is how large that “you” is — from the ego that handles daily life all the way out to the entity that spans space and time.

0 / 4
  1. 05ego自我

The ego is that organized portion of the conscious mind that is focused upon dealing with and manipulating physical reality, serving as an instrument of the inner self on the physical level.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Turning from “how reality comes about” to “who is creating it”, start with the part you know best: the self that copes with the physical world. It is highly capable — and only a small piece of the whole.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Nature of Personal Reality, Chapter 3 →

    Try asking Seth

“In Seth's account, what is the ego actually responsible for, and why does it resist change so stubbornly?”

  2. 06conscious mind意识心

The conscious mind is a flexible tool of awareness used by the whole self to focus on physical reality, evaluate experience, direct the unconscious, and make choices.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: The ego is easily mistaken for an enemy to be put down; this step sets it right — Seth wants you to use this instrument for weighing experience and making choices, not to go around it.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Nature of Personal Reality, Chapter 1 →

    Try asking Seth

“Seth says to trust the conscious mind, but my thoughts keep running off on their own — how do those two go together?”

  3. 07inner self内我

The inner self is the indestructible, highly creative core of an individual's multidimensional personality, serving as the true creator and sustainer of the physical body and reality, as well as the director of inner reality.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Beneath the conscious mind lies the part that sustains the body and the outer reality from moment to moment — the inner self. Recognise it and “how a belief becomes a fact” finally has someone carrying it out.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Nature of Personal Reality, Chapter 5 →

    Try asking Seth

“How do the inner self and the conscious mind divide the work, and how do I tell which intuitions come from the inner self?”

  4. 08entity存有

The entity is a multidimensional consciousness gestalt that transcends time and space, eternally evolving, and serves as the source of individual personalities and the wholeness of the soul.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Further in than the inner self is the entity, which spans space and time and casts one personality after another. With it the second stop reaches from the everyday “me” out to the largest one.

    Mike's commentary (Chinese) · 《未知的实相》解读, Chapter 681 →

    Try asking Seth

“What is the relationship between the entity and me as a person? Can I feel my own entity in ordinary life?”

Stop 3 · Time and probabilities

A multidimensional self needs a multidimensional time. Until the assumption that the past is settled and the future has not yet happened is replaced, the change described in the first two stops has nowhere to land.

0 / 4
  1. 09simultaneous time同时性时间

Simultaneous time refers to the cosmic reality in which the past, present, and future do not pass linearly, but instead exist simultaneously as an "eternal now."AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Having met the multidimensional self, you have to replace the assumption of linear time, or “one entity living many personalities at once” can only be heard as a figure of speech.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Way Toward Health, Chapter 12 →

    Try asking Seth

“If past, present and future all exist at once, do the choices I make right now still mean anything?”

  2. 10spacious present广阔的现在

The "spacious present" is the only true multidimensional time reality in Seth's philosophy that transcends linear time and encompasses all past, present, and future.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Simultaneous time, at the level of experience, goes by the name of the spacious present — this step pulls an abstract view of time back to somewhere you can stand right now.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Way Toward Health, Chapter 1 →

    Try asking Seth

“Is the spacious present a state I can actually experience, and how do I enter it?”

  3. 11probabilities可能性

Probabilities are parallel networks of events created by consciousness in a multidimensional universe, which are as real as physical reality and can be chosen by free will.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: If time is not a line, then events are not a single road: probabilities account for where the unchosen selves went, and for why change is genuinely possible at all.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul, Chapter 16 →

    Try asking Seth

“Seth says every choice is realised in some probable reality — so how do I pick the road I want in this one?”

  4. 12reincarnation转世

Reincarnation is a series of multiple life dramas autonomously chosen and lived simultaneously by a multidimensional personality within simultaneous time, for the purpose of value fulfillment, experiencing growth, and manipulating energy.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: With simultaneous time and probabilities in place, reincarnation stops reading as a queue of past lives; this step brings the third stop to a close.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul, Chapter 4 →

    Try asking Seth

“Seth says reincarnational lives are actually simultaneous — so do my so-called past lives still act on me now?”

Stop 4 · The door to practice

The first three stops are a map; this one is exercise — the handful of everyday methods Seth gives again and again in the books, and you can begin tonight.

  1. 13natural hypnosis自然催眠

Natural hypnosis refers to a natural state of consciousness in daily life characterized by highly concentrated attention, where the unconscious defaults to and executes conscious beliefs.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: The fourth stop is hands-on. Natural hypnosis is Seth's name for the way beliefs reinforce themselves through daily repetition — which makes it, turned around, the most direct lever for changing them.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Nature of Personal Reality, Chapter 16 →

    Try asking Seth

“What does Seth's natural hypnosis exercise look like in practice, ten minutes a day?”

  2. 14psychological time心理时间

Psychological time is an elastic time dimension and environment of consciousness belonging to the inner ego, based on the intensity of experience rather than clock chronology.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Natural hypnosis works on the conditions outside; psychological time opens a door inward — it is the basic exercise Seth recommends most often, and the everyday route to the inner self.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · The Magical Approach, Chapter 1 →

    Try asking Seth

“What time of day suits the psychological time exercise, and what should I be noticing while I do it?”

  3. 15inner senses内在感官

The inner senses are nonphysical organs of perception inherent in consciousness, used to perceive, manipulate, and create multidimensional, nonphysical reality.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Psychological time opens the door — but you perceive with what? The inner senses are the set of nonphysical perceptual organs Seth lays out.

Mike's commentary (Chinese) · Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul, Chapter 2 →

    Try asking Seth

“What are the inner senses, and which one is a beginner most likely to reach first?”

  4. 16dream reality梦实相

The dream reality is an objectively existing, highly organized, and infinitely creative multidimensional dimension of consciousness that is the source of the physical world.AI entry (cross-book synthesis)

Why this one first: Dreams are the laboratory in which everyone already uses the inner senses every night — the last step brings the whole path back to one thing you can do tonight.

    Mike's commentary (Chinese) · 《梦、进化与价值完成》解读, Chapter 890 →

    Try asking Seth

“How do I start keeping a dream journal, and what experiments does Seth say can be run inside dreams?”

When you are through: see all the concepts under Concepts or read the indexes book by book under Seth books — each in the order it was spoken.
