Research Program / Claims / emotions-6

Emotions are highly involved in precognition procedures: individuals can perceive information meaningful to themselves, and 'importance' attracts information like a magnet.

情绪高度参与预知程序:个体能感知到对自己有意义的信息,“重要性”会像磁铁一样吸引信息到来。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Five to ten laboratories recruit approximately 3000 participants, each performing 200 two-alternative forced-choice trials. After answers are locked, targets are generated randomly by an independent server. Personal importance of future outcomes is manipulated in advance, such as participant-valued rewards versus value-matched neutral outcomes, and emotional arousal and confidence are measured. The pre-registered primary test is the importance × above-chance hit rate interaction, using participant-level hierarchical models, real-time unalterable logs, and automated program audits. The study period is 12–18 months, and key results require independent replication.

Personal Relevance and Prediction of Subsequently Randomized Outcomes: A Preregistered Multilaboratory Study
What it would overturn
If stable prediction of independently generated random outcomes after response locking is demonstrated after excluding information leakage, this would overturn the null hypothesis that there is no exploitable information association between behavioral records and future independent random targets.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Priority effects of important information on attention and memory are existing hypotheses; the distinguishable prediction would be that importance increases prediction accuracy for yet-to-be-generated information, but the original statement does not provide effect sizes or a definition of importance.
Note
Contested does not mean the evidence is evenly balanced: stricter replications currently do not support reliable precognition, and general emotional stimuli are not the same as information meaningful to an individual.
