Adjudicating experiment
Approximately 600 participants, over 8 consecutive weeks, upload all dreams and waking spontaneous imagery at fixed daily times with immutable timestamps, including records of no dream and no imagery; after sealing, the server randomly selects one of four matched images with equal probability as the day's future event. Independent blind raters rank the four images without knowing the actual target; the primary endpoint is the proportion of trials in which the target is ranked first, with a random baseline of 25%. Pre-registered analyses include comparisons between dream and waking states, missing-data handling, and repeated-measures models; post hoc changes to matching windows or exclusion of failed reports are prohibited. Recruitment and independent replication together span 12–18 months.

If independently replicated blind-rated matching exceeds the random baseline, it would challenge the hypothesis that precognitive dream correspondences are fully explained by ordinary prediction, coincidence, and memory or matching biases.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Systematic dream recording is a reasonable data-collection suggestion, but no baseline, blind rating, target set, time window, or failure count is given; the original method is insufficient to rule out ordinary correspondences.
Note
There are already directly relevant studies in this area; it cannot be labeled as unstudied. Personal diaries are suitable for generating hypotheses, but only with prospective sealing, random targets, and independent scoring do they gain strong adjudicative power.
