You cannot simultaneously retain and use all the thoughts of your life; doing so would be psychological suicide; you retain encoded memories of these thoughts.

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Approximately 200 people undergo 30 days of random experience sampling to produce time-stamped thought records, then tests of recognition and recall at 1 day, 1 month, and 6 months, over a 12-month project; progressively increase simultaneous retrieval load from 1, 2, 4, to 8 items, measuring accuracy, interference, fatigue, and EEG, with approximately 60 additional people undergoing neuroimaging. This can test accessible capacity and retention of memory traces, but cannot exhaust all thoughts of a lifetime; attempts to induce so-called 'psychological suicide' should not be made.
Suggested paper title
Capacity Limits and Latent Retention of Sampled Everyday Thoughts: A Longitudinal Multimodal Study
What it would overturn
Limited parallel capacity and encoded memory do not overturn the mainstream view; if it were demonstrated that all thoughts are permanently and losslessly recoverable, it would revise the hypothesis that memory retention is selective and involves irreversible information loss.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Limited retrieval capacity overlaps with existing theories; 'all thoughts retain encoding' is stronger but not yet confirmed, and 'psychological suicide' lacks a clear clinical or cognitive definition.
Note
This item is a composite claim: the capacity and encoding portions have support, but complete lifetime retention and catastrophic consequences have not been directly verified, so the entire item cannot be marked as supported.

    支持局部子命题:暂时未被注意的工作记忆内容可被刺激重新激活,说明当前激活与保留并不相同;不证明一生所有思想都有永久编码,也不证明同时调用会致死。[论文](https://doi.org/10.1126/science.aah7011)
