Specificity of Seth's formulation
'Conscious veto can terminate a session' can be tested, but ordinary voluntary control makes the same prediction; 'never attempts to influence' involves unobservable intentions.
Note
One must distinguish subjective non-voluntariness, actual inability to stop, and inability to recall behavior; these are not the same indicator.
