Tentatively operationalize the "energy bridge" as a physical signal that can carry target information: approximately 100 pairs of participants complete remote four-alternative forced-choice target tasks, 200 trials per pair, over 12–18 months; two independent randomizations determine targets and real/sham task time windows. The sender area, receiver area, and blank detection area are equipped with darkroom photon counters and electromagnetic sensors, controlling temperature, oxidation state, dark counts, delayed luminescence, device crosstalk, and clock drift. Pre-register concurrent tests of behavioral identification rate and target information content in physical signals; mere light intensity correlation does not count as communication.
