Corresponding to supplementary question 2: approximately 120 participants, each spending 6 experimental nights, using high-density EEG, EOG, and EMG; awakenings stratified by REM and N2/N3, followed by immediate sealing of dream reports; targets are then generated randomly. Pre-register posterior cortical activity and source-space default mode network indices, with an additional feasibility check using simultaneous EEG-fMRI in about 40 participants; analyze continuous matching scores across all trials to avoid cherry-picking hits, over 18–24 months. Only after reproducing above-chance matching can its neural correlates be meaningfully discussed.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
'Projection may not be remembered' makes the necessary condition difficult to falsify; one must first independently define indicators of projection and cannot retroactively treat any hit as evidence that projection occurred.
Note
The supplementary question restricts projection to non-waking states, inconsistent with the stated claim that explicitly allows waking projection; a waking control should be added, and default mode network differences alone cannot prove conscious projection.
