Research Program / Claims / precognition-10
Some seemingly precognitive dreams may actually be events set in motion by a 'posthypnotic suggestion' effect generated by the dream itself.
某些看似预知的梦其实可能是由梦本身造成的“催眠后暗示”作用推动事件发生。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Approximately 450 participants record dreams for 4 weeks; after qualifying reports, they are randomly assigned to dream recall, neutral recall, or no recall, followed by objectively recordable small monetary expenditures or social choices, with random outcomes outside participant control as controls. Raters and outcome recorders are blinded; the mediation path of dream content → expectation → behavior → controllable outcome is tested, with completion in about 9 months. For posthypnotic suggestion to serve as a specific mechanism, additional control conditions with standard hypnotic induction and matched suggestion would be required.
Suggested paper title
Dream Interpretation, Expectancy, and Subsequent Behaviour: A Randomized Longitudinal Study
What it would overturn
No need to overturn mainstream assumptions: dreams affecting subsequent experience through expectation and behavior is consistent with existing cognitive theories and does not violate normal causal laws for external events.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
This overlaps heavily with self-fulfilling prophecy and expectancy effects; labeling it posthypnotic suggestion does not automatically add mechanistic specificity.
Note
'supported' refers only to the limited version that dreams and their interpretation may alter judgment and thereby influence controllable experiences; that natural dreams have a formal posthypnotic suggestion mechanism or can cause uncontrollable external events has not been proven by the listed papers.
