Research Program / Claims / point-of-power-9

The mechanical model of the body wearing out within a certain age limit is wrong, and is reinforced by the belief that 'the body ages'; the genetic system responds to thoughts and emotions, and plans for future probabilities.

身体在特定年龄限度内磨损的机械模型是错误的,且受“身体会衰老”信念强化;遗传系统会响应思想与情绪,并为未来概率做规划。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
For supplementary question 3: pre-register about 300 people, randomly assigned to explicit behavioral intention, equally credible relaxation, and neutral control, matched for breathing, posture, activity, and contact time, with intervention before a standardized psychosocial stress task; blood sampling at baseline and 30, 60, 120 min, and 24 h after intervention, measuring pre-specified immediate early genes such as FOS and stress transcription pathways, plus cortisol, heart rate variability, cell proportions, and single-cell or sorted-cell transcriptomics. Methylation assessments at baseline, 24 h, 8 weeks, and 6 months; whole-omics must control for multiple comparisons and independent replication, project duration about 18–24 months. If examining aging beliefs and functional decline, another thousand-person randomized intervention with at least 2–5 years of follow-up would be needed; short-term epigenetic-clock changes cannot substitute for lifespan conclusions.

What it would overturn
Only if genes are shown to respond to currently unobtainable future information would the hypothesis that 'gene regulation depends on existing genetic structure and current or past biochemical signals, not on information about future events' be revised.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Thoughts and emotions affecting transcription via neural, endocrine, and immune pathways is not unique; 'planning for future probabilities' produces additional predictions only if it explicitly anticipates currently unknowable events, for which there is no direct evidence.
Note
The human gene symbol is FOS, often called c-fos; peripheral FOS is neither a specific readout of brain intention nor an aging marker; blood-draw stress and white blood cell composition are sufficient to create epigenetic differences.
