Research Program / Claims / physical-body-5
Chemicals themselves never produce consciousness or life; consciousness comes first, evolves its own forms, and continuously creates the physical universe.
化学物质本身绝不会产生意识或生命,意识在先,并演化出它自己的形态,且持续创造物理宇宙。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
The full ontological claim has no adjudicable experiment: if any chemical system can be declared to have unmeasurable consciousness, both success and failure cannot distinguish explanations. A limited version can be tested: three laboratories each conduct about 100 independent cell-free protocell assemblies with traceable materials, excluding whole live cell contamination, observing whether they can sustain metabolism, replicate, and undergo at least 20 generations of heritable variation and selection; period 3–5 years. Success could weaken the claim that chemical organization is insufficient for life functions, but cannot alone adjudicate subjective experience or cosmic creation.

Testing the Sufficiency of Defined Chemical Systems for Sustained Replication and Heritable Adaptation
What it would overturn
If independently measurable pre-existing consciousness were proven necessary for life formation, it would negate the research hypothesis that appropriate physical-chemical organization suffices for life functions.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
'Consciousness first' lacks independent criteria, onset time, or manipulable variables, thus currently lacks distinguishable predictions.
Note
Origin of life and origin of consciousness are separate issues; not having fully synthesized life does not constitute evidence for consciousness first, and successful synthesis of life does not automatically resolve the consciousness problem.
