Adjudicating experiment
Approximately 300 people complete stimulus estimation and cross-modal transfer tasks for vision, hearing, and touch. Stimuli are independently calibrated, and priors and sensory noise are randomly varied; pre-registered error, discriminability, and cross-context prediction accuracy, completed in 6–9 months. This design can compare models of perceptual bias; if the so-called true universe does not allow any independent measurement, then this ontological assertion has no adjudicable experiment.
