Research Program / Claims / perception-5

The material world is composed of invisible patterns; the senses perceive these patterns in their own ways, and the senses themselves are part of these patterns.

物质世界由不可见模式组成,感官以自己的方式感知这些模式,且感官本身也是这些模式的一部分。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Restrict 'patterns' to measurable spatial, temporal, and spectral structures: 100 participants receive visual, auditory, and sensory-substitution stimuli using different physical encodings of the same underlying structure; psychophysical performance and EEG are recorded; cross-modal shared models and modality-specific models are compared; independent stimulus sets are used for validation, about 9–12 months; this can test representational format but cannot adjudicate an undefined ultimate ontology of the world.
Suggested paper title
Modality-Specific and Shared Representations of Latent Environmental Structure
What it would overturn
Under the weak interpretation that physical structures are encoded by sensory systems, no mainstream assumption needs to be overturned, because that interpretation already belongs to the basic framework of sensory neuroscience.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
The 'supported' label applies only to the weak version in which the senses encode physical structures and are themselves physical systems; no mathematical definition or unique predictions are given for patterns, so it cannot be concluded on this basis that it anticipated a specific modern theory.
Note
If 'invisible patterns' actually refers to a layer of entities independent of known physical quantities, the strong version should be re-labeled 'untested'.
