Research Program / Claims / outer-senses-10

Rob tried exercises such as using the mind's eye to go behind objects and 'walking across a bridge,' and Seth suggested he practice them regularly to develop inner senses.

罗试过用意念之眼绕到物体后方和“走过桥”等练习,赛斯建议他经常尝试以发展内在感官。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
For issue 5, first fix the operational manual for 'psychological time,' imagery circumvention, and bridge-crossing. Pre-register about 360 participants, randomly assign to three groups: this practice, an equal-duration expectancy-matched relaxation training, and ordinary spatial imagery training, with 8 weeks of training and 3 months of follow-up. Primary endpoint: tactile d'; secondary endpoints: dichotic listening and EEG. Also include an independent randomized hidden target task, computing pre-specified four-alternative forced-choice hit rate, analyzed by participant clustering, over 18–24 months.
Suggested paper title
Effects of Guided Imagery Training on Sensory Discrimination and Concealed-Target Identification: A Pre-registered Randomized Trial
What it would overturn
Ordinary threshold improvements require no revision of mainstream hypotheses; only reliable acquisition of novel hidden information would challenge the hypothesis that mental imagery reorganizes existing information and cannot independently acquire unknown target information.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
The practice form is specified, but without training dose, expected effect size, or success criteria; one must distinguish clearer imagery, ordinary perceptual improvement, and hidden information acquisition.
Note
The precise training method remains untested; the field of hidden-target research can be called contested, and this contested status cannot be transferred to the claim that Rob's practice has been validated.
