Addressing question 5: First, administer to approximately 600 participants measures of dimensional shifting, task switching, integrative complexity (blind-coded), affective-cognitive mixed decisions, and heuristic biases to establish a multitrait measurement model; then recruit approximately 300 participants randomly assigned to integrative training or an active control, with 8 weeks of training and a 6-month follow-up, over approximately 18 months. Test whether an independent factor beyond general intelligence, openness, and metacognition exists, and whether it transfers to untrained tasks; this tests integrative ability, but cannot test an unspecified future prophecy about humanity.

If a distinct and trainable integrative factor is found, this would revise the candidate model that mixed-decision performance is sufficiently explained by existing executive functions, intelligence, and metacognitive factors.
