Research Program / Claims / focus-of-consciousness-10
Science has neglected multiple focuses of consciousness; certain civilizations in the past deliberately employed many focuses of consciousness.

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
One must first specify the civilization, era, location, and identifiable training practices. Then, over 2–3 years, establish a database of at least several hundred independently datable texts, images, and archaeological records, with coders blind to the hypothesis analyzing the distribution and propagation of practices, while excluding translation and modern projection. If a surviving group exists, approximately 200 people could additionally be recruited to test multiple reproducible states and differences in attentional control within the same individual. Historical evidence can only show that practices existed; modern experiments cannot retroactively prove that ancient people possessed the same abilities.
Suggested paper title
Historical Evidence and Cross-Cultural Validation of Practices for Deliberate Attentional State Switching
What it would overturn
Demonstrating that ancient societies systematically trained multiple states of consciousness would not generally overturn mainstream anthropology; only if a previously unknown and verifiable unique ability were discovered would a revision of cross-cultural cognitive ability models be required.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
No specific civilization or era is named, nor is it defined whether "multiple focuses" refers to distinct states or simultaneously existing subjects, so it cannot establish a clear prediction distinct from existing studies of ritual, meditation, and trance.
Note
Modern science does study multiple states of consciousness; the generalization that "science neglects" them is untenable, but this does not refute or confirm the unspecified historical assertions about ancient civilizations.
