Adjudicating experiment
First, "lifetime experience" must be divided into subjective duration, verifiable event count, and skill transfer. Recruit approximately 100 participants reporting very long dreams, each with 4–6 nights, targeting sleep segments under 60 minutes; when communication is possible, use eye movements to periodically mark subjective time and task progress; immediately upon awakening, measure narrative details, source memory, and transfer of new rules, compared with equal-duration waking imagination and ordinary dreams. Preset compression-rate thresholds relative to waking performance and independent replication criteria; duration 18–24 months; negative results from a limited sample cannot rule out "certain dreams" with unspecified incidence.

What it would overturn
If confirmed that a large amount of testable and transferable new experience can be obtained within one hour, this would challenge the hypothesis that "serial processing and learning rate in sleep cognition are limited by conventional neural time scales."

Specificity of Seth's formulation
"Less than one hour" provides an upper physical duration bound, but "lifetime experience" lacks a quantitative definition, and "certain" lacks incidence, so this is not yet a fully falsifiable prediction.

Feeling one has lived for many years or suddenly having a life background in a dream must be measured separately from itemized multiple years of events and corresponding skills.
