Adjudicating experiment
Multi-center trial with approximately 200 participants, each undergoing 4 nights of high-density EEG and structural MRI; all dream reports are sealed via a fixed waking protocol, and future visual targets are later selected independently at random. A content decoder is trained on an independent visual localization task, and cross-decoding is compared between pre-presentation dream EEG and later visual responses; the primary endpoint is the advantage of future targets over matched decoys, validated across nights and individuals, controlling for eye movements, verbal recall, category frequency, and filtering-induced cross-temporal leakage; duration 18–24 months. The temporoparietal junction is only a pre-registered candidate region; if external electromagnetic transmission is further claimed, specific frequency bands and field strengths must be given, and random assignment to verified effective shielding versus sham shielding conditions is required.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
'The mind receives first, the brain interprets later' lacks an independently measurable first stage; temporoparietal junction localization and specific electromagnetic parameters are not predictions already made in the original claim.

EEG measures scalp potentials and source localization depends on models; similarity of neural representations only indicates similar content processing, and cannot alone prove external electromagnetic input or a mind-based receiver independent of the brain.
