Multi-center recruitment of approximately 600–1000 participants, covering a wide range of intelligence, education, and experience levels; pre-specified thresholds for high intelligence and low bias, with standardized cognitive ability, domain knowledge, absorption tendency, suggestibility, and source monitoring tests. Six months of training and repeated blind tasks, with a total period of 18–24 months. Set "ability to produce channeling experiences" and "information accuracy above chance" as distinct endpoints; use an independent test set to examine predictive power, and search for below-threshold but repeatedly successful counterexamples to test necessity.
