On the return trip, Rob subconsciously suggested that the car's fuel consumption would decrease, and it actually used at least about two quarts less oil.

罗在归途中向潜意识暗示汽车耗油量减少,实际少用了约至少两夸脱油。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Randomly assign about 100 drivers to a fuel-saving expectancy suggestion or a neutral suggestion in crossover fashion, each person 8–12 times on a standard route over 3–6 months; use calibrated fuel mass/flow measurements and vehicle data recording, controlling for mileage, speed, acceleration, grade, temperature, load, and traffic, and examine the mediating role of driving behavior. Additionally conduct about 200 randomized blinded comparisons on a chassis dynamometer with fixed driving cycles to test whether differences persist when behavior and mechanical conditions are identical, prespecifying instrument error and minimum detectable effect.
Suggested paper title
Fuel-Saving Expectancy and Measured Vehicle Fuel Consumption under Controlled Driving Conditions
What it would overturn
If suggestion can alter fuel consumption after excluding changes in driving behavior and mechanical conditions, this would challenge the model that fuel consumption under a given driving cycle is determined by measurable mechanical, thermodynamic, and environmental factors.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
An absolute fuel saving is given, but expected consumption, route, mileage, vehicle state, or measurement error are not; without these conditions, using two quarts less cannot serve as a transportable effect size.
Note
If US liquid quarts, two quarts is about 1.89 liters; a single round trip may involve grade, wind, and driving differences and cannot establish causation; [Sanguinetti research direction](https://ncst.ucdavis.edu/people/angela-sanguinetti) is similar to behavioral mediation testing.
