Research Program / Claims / belief-systems-2
When contradictory beliefs coexist without reconciliation, they trigger a 'battle' within the conscious mind and cause the body's systems to receive conflicting signals, resulting in imbalance.
相互矛盾的信念同时存在而没有调和时,会在意识心内部引发“战斗”,并导致身体系统收到矛盾信号,出现失衡。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Approximately 400 participants would be randomized to belief conflict, reconciled conflict, equally unpleasant non-conflict, and neutral conditions; immediate subjective discomfort, electrodermal activity, and heart-rate variability would be measured, with salivary cortisol collected continuously for 60 minutes, followed by four weeks of symptom recording. The test would determine whether conflict effects exceed general stress, and a priori specification of the organ, direction, and timing of the claimed conflicting signals.

Belief Conflict, Cognitive Reappraisal, and Autonomic Regulation: A Preregistered Randomized Experiment
What it would overturn
If organ-level conflict signals independent of generic stress responses were found, it would revise the mechanistic model that cognitive dissonance's bodily effects are explained by ordinary emotional and autonomic regulation.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
The 'internal battle' is similar to cognitive dissonance; the idea of the body receiving conflicting signals adds a mechanism beyond ordinary dissonance theory, but the carrier and imbalance indicators are unspecified.
Note
Psychological discomfort, autonomic arousal, and organ disease are distinct outcomes; a single electrodermal change cannot demonstrate systemic imbalance.
