Research Program / Claims / automatic-writing-5
Beginning to know the words of Ouija board responses in advance may be an observable sign of emerging inner perception, although it does not necessarily occur.
若开始预先知晓灵应盘回应的文字,可能是内层感知显现的可观测信号,但不一定出现。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Recruit approximately 100 pairs of participants for four experimental sessions over two weeks. Synchronize eye tracking, board trajectories, and anticipation-button responses, and require predictions to precede any discernible directional movement toward the target letter. Compare conditions with normal visibility, occluded feedback, answers unknown to the partner, and randomly rearranged letter layouts. Use language-model next-letter probabilities and trajectory cues as baselines. If the claim extends beyond ordinary information channels, add random targets generated only after responses have been submitted, independently pre-register approximately 10,000 trials, and analyze the data with clustering by participant.
Suggested paper title
Anticipatory Gaze and Explicit Letter Prediction During Joint Ideomotor Action
What it would overturn
Anticipating letters one helps generate would not overturn predictive processing theory. Only reliable prediction of targets randomly generated afterward would challenge the assumption that prediction depends on available information.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Anticipation of words has an observable counterpart, but “inner perception” has not been distinguished from unconscious language planning. “May, but not necessarily,” without a minimum occurrence rate, further weakens falsifiability.
Note
The label contested concerns the interpretation that moves from anticipation to a special perceptual mechanism. Anticipatory eye movements, conscious advance knowledge of an entire word, and precognition of external events are three distinct endpoints.
