Humans, due to multifaceted development, are no longer subject to the extremely clear-cut essence characteristic of animal instincts; they require a moment of conscious choice and reflection, which most other beings largely lack.

人类因多方面发展而不再适用动物本能那种极度明确的本质,需要有意识的选择与反省的一刻,而其他生灵大半没有。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Using delayed-memory tasks matched for perceptual difficulty, paid-information viewing, and refusal-to-answer tasks, approximately 100 adults, 30 macaques, and 60 corvids were compared over 18–24 months; novel-stimulus transfer, reward revaluation, and no-feedback tests distinguished metacognition from associative learning, with pre-registered computational model comparisons. Only selected species can be tested; one cannot infer 'most other beings' from a few species.
Suggested paper title
Comparative Metacognitive Control Under Matched Uncertainty in Humans, Macaques, and Corvids
What it would overturn
If a strictly human-unique threshold for reflection is found, it would partially correct the hypothesis that some nonhuman animals share metacognitive monitoring mechanisms with humans.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Limited: it provides a directional difference between humans and animals, but 'extremely clear-cut' and 'most' lack thresholds and species distribution predictions.
Note
Evidence for animal metacognition must still be distinguished from subjective reflection; humans also heavily use automated processes, and a simple instinct–reflection dichotomy is insufficient to describe existing data.
