Adjudicating experiment
First, supporters are asked to pre-specify the objective source, answers, and biological structures of the alleged extra information; then a multicenter pre-registered trial with 600 participants over about 12 months is conducted, randomly assigning participants to either affirmation of the authenticity of ability or an expectancy-matched control; each person completes approximately 200 computer-generated hidden-target four-alternative forced-choice tasks over 4 weeks, with the target isolated from the response system to preclude sensory leakage; the chance baseline of 25%, stopping rules, and minimal effects are pre-specified, and moderation by baseline beliefs is tested; only if behavioral effects replicate independently are imaging and appropriate causal interventions on the specified structures added, with no post hoc whole-brain search for arbitrary significant regions.

Specificity of Seth's formulation
Claiming that belief is a necessary condition and that there are activatable innate structures is stronger than generic expectancy effects; however, without naming the structures or defining multidimensional information, it cannot yield uniquely distinguishable predictions.
