Research Program / Claims / a-1-4

The A-1 state is easy to enter; when listening to preferred music or engaging in quiet activities, it is accompanied by individual-specific bodily cues (such as finger tapping, gazing); recognizing and holding these cues allows entry.

A-1状态容易进入,当听喜欢的音乐或从事安静活动时会伴随个人特有的身体线索(如敲手指、凝视),认出并保持它即可进入。

This program treats the Seth Material as a source of hypotheses, not as doctrine to be validated. Lead dossiers are AI-compiled from the corpus with a book-and-session citation after every statement; literature reviews are AI web-search summaries whose references were all DOI-verified against Crossref; the agenda draft is an AI synthesis. None of it is Seth's original text, and none of it represents scientific consensus. English fields are machine-translated; the Chinese text is authoritative.

Adjudicating experiment
Recruit about 240 people; first perform two weeks of daily experience sampling plus wrist movement, eye movement, and physiological recording to fix each person's candidate cues; then randomly cross over preferred music, acoustically matched neutral music, quiet activity, as well as real cue feedback and yoked sham feedback. Each person has 4 sessions with 4 weeks of training, total period 12 months. Test whether cues predict independently defined experiences and EEG changes in fully held-out sessions, and whether cue recognition increases entry rate; synchronously analyze HRV, electrodermal activity, respiration, and within-individual associations of tapping and gaze direction.

Personalized Behavioral Cues for Inducing Absorption: A Pre-registered Study of Music, Gaze, and Autonomic Physiology
What it would overturn
If cues provide prospective prediction and induction beyond expectation and ordinary relaxation, this would revise the hypothesis that 'these actions are merely accompanying behaviors without state-specific predictive value.'

Specificity of Seth's formulation
'Cues are individualized; recognizing and maintaining them leads to entry' is more specific than general music relaxation and can be distinguished by real vs. sham cues; but entry must be defined independently.
Note
Finger tapping produces EMG contamination, and gaze/eye closure affect EEG; therefore false neural signatures from movement and eye state must first be excluded.
