肉体自我在物理层面并不受皮肤边界所限，皮肤只是方便区分上的“物理性围场”，像开放的框架，化学物质、营养物质、分子等频繁出入；自我通过皮肤延伸进入环境，环境是自我的延伸。

The physical self is not limited by the skin boundary at the physical level; the skin is merely a "physical enclosure" for convenience of distinction, like an open framework through which chemicals, nutrients, molecules, etc., pass frequently. The self extends into the environment through the skin; the environment is an extension of the self.
